Garret's 3!!!

Friday was Garrets birthday, but since Brent had to work most of the day and I had Bunko that night we decided to just do the festivities on Saturday. We ended up taking Garret to this place called Rollandia. Its a play place with an arcade and a play area with slides and stuff to climb on. They also have mini golf and regular golf, but we tried mini golf last week and he didn't last too long. He had a lot of fun in the play area. He was a little apprehensive at first, but then he got into it. He also liked playing the arcade games, especially the Jurassic Park one that you have to shoot the dinosaurs. We wanted to do the birthday cake that night after dinner, but he was not in a good mood, from lack of a nap (his choice), so we are doing that today. He helped make the cake as well as decorate it. Garrets Aunt Patricia gave us an Elmo cake pan, so we did that, but since I'm not a good cake decorator, we just frosted it and Garret put sprinkles on.

We have been so blessed by having Garret in our lives. He teaches us so much. He is always willing to help. He is so loving and will usually give us a hug and kiss without us asking.

I still think it funny that his favorite part of his birthday is the balloons. They stick around until they pop and he loves it. He didn't want to open his presents this year because all the balloons were in the living room when he got up. We finally convinced him to open his presents and he did a way better job then he has in the past, he knew exactly what to do.

We are so proud of him and love him so much.
