Baseball...

If you know Brent than you know he loves the Atlanta Braves baseball team. So when the team was going to be just 45 min drive away, we had to go. This was Garrets 2nd Braves game. It was a pretty good game, the Braves won! We got there a little late, in the 2nd inning I believe, and shortly after we got there the Braves were at bat. Yunel Escobar was up and got hit by a pitch, so he started to walk toward the mound. All the fans got on their feet, the benches cleared as well as the bullpens. It was awesome. Nobody got hit or anything, it got broken up pretty quick, but it was still cool.
We had really good seats. We sat on the 3rd base side, 11 rows up. You can see Chipper Jones in this picture standing in front of the umpire.
Before we left I decided to put some sunscreen on Garret, in case our seats were in the sun, turns out we didn't need it. Anyway, so I put it on his face and neck and arms. He started getting some bumps on his arms and chin during the game. The next morning when he got up his face was a little swollen, and red. Same with his neck and ears. His arms weren't too bad. It looked like he had a rash. I gave him a bath, then called the Dr to see what we should do. She said to give him some Benadryl, and if it got worse to take him to the urgent care or the ER. Luckily it didn't get worse, but he is still getting over it. He had a shower this morning, to make sure we got all of it off yesterday. I felt so bad cuz I put the sunscreen on him, and he didn't need it, and now he is dealing with an allergic reaction. So now we have to find a new sunscreen that he can use for when we go on vacation.
We are so excited for our trip and can't wait to leave. Brent has taken 2 of his 3 finals, and is taking his last one on Tuesday before we leave. Garret is very excited to fly on a plane again and to see family and friends, we'll see how excited he is when we have to go to the airport at 5 am. We are excited to fly to Utah, drive to Kingsburg, San Diego, Vegas and back to Orem.
Brent has decided to take 2 classes this summer and work for a judge here in Dayton. He has his externship set up for the fall as well, so things are finally starting to work out that way. We are happy we only have 1 year left in school.
Garret is counting down the days till he is 3. I still can't believe that 3 years ago I was in the hospital pregnant with him. His vocabulary continues to grow every day and he continues to get bigger, and bigger.
